Daycare Ratios:

As a former teacher, I understand the importance of a small class size. When classes are small, we are able to individualize and better meet each child's needs. We keep our ratio small in order to better care for each individual child and meet them where they are. This also allows us to be a bit more flexible with our schedule to better fit a child's needs (naps, feedings, etc.) We are also able to provide more individualized activities to help children master the skills they are working on.

Our Facility:

We have a designated area in our home that is exclusively for daycare use, including an outdoor play area. Each area is stocked with developmentally appropriate toys, books, and activities.  We have a separate entrance that leads directly into the space for easy sign-in and sign-out. 8:00 - 8:30       Arrival/Free play

8:30 - 9:00       Diaper change/potty  

9:00 - 9:30       Breakfast/Feed bottles 

9:30 - 10:30     Nap time (depending on age), Circle Time Stories/Songs

10:30 - 11:00   Diaper change/potty

11:00 - 11:30   Outside play, clean-up/wash-up, free-play and/or structured-play

11:30 - 12:00   Clean-up/wash-up, Diaper change/potty, Educational videos

12:00 - 12:30    Lunch (eat, clean up/ wash up)

12:30 - 2:30      Nap time and/or quiet time

2:30 - 3:30        Diaper change/potty, free-play and/or structured-play, books, etc.

3:30 - 4:00        Afternoon snack, clean-up/wash-up

4:00 - 4:30        Outside play

4:30 - 5:00        Diaper change/potty, outside play, remaining pickups

5:00                  Close
